All About Dora Fiesta Favorites Kitchen Set
We adults may not be thrilled about being in the kitchen when we grow up, but most little girls love playing with a kitchen playset. They can spend hours and hours in pretend cooking and playing with their toy kitchen set.
This particular kitchen playset has the added attraction of featuring Dora the Explorer, and little girls love her! Because of this, the Fisher-Price Dora Fiesta Favorites Kitchen Playset is guaranteed to sell like hotcakes this holiday season.
Included with The Dora Fiesta Favorites Kitchen Set
The Dora kitchen set comes with a refrigerator, oven, grill, sink, stovetop and phone. (What kitchen would be complete these days without a phone!)
There is a total of 20 play pieces.
You will also need 3 AA batteries, which are included, but it’s always wise to have a back up set on Christmas Day. Sometimes batteries included in toys have gotten old and don’t last long.
And what would a kitchen be without recipes?
The Dora Fiesta Favorites Kitchen doesn’t forget one of the most important parts of a kitchen! You’ve got to have recipes to make food. There are:
* Double-sided recipe card for girls to put in the kitchen window,
* 2 recipes on each side of the card,
* Dora will talk you through each recipe, and
* Comes with over 60 English and Spanish phrases.
Bottom Line, Is it Worth Purchasing The Dora Fiesta Favorites Kitchen?
This Dora kitchen set just LOOKS fun. It’s brightly colored and has a lot of detailed cooking elements. Just as an example, your kid can set the cooker knobs and timers which make noises when she does so. She can also put food into the refrigerator, see racks inside the oven, and when she’s done cooking, wash things up.
Of course, one of the most fun things with this Dora kitchen set is just because it IS a Dora kitchen set. She even calls your child on the included cell phone to talk about what she's cooking. What little Dora fan wouldn’t be thrilled to talk to Dora while playing with Dora’s kitchen set? So if your child loves Dora be prepared to hear her asking for this kitchen for Christmas!
On the con side…. Like most toys these days there is some assembly required for Doras kitchen set. Fortunately, the instructions are pretty simple to follow, so it shouldn't take too long to get the kitchen ready for play. Overall the Dora kitchen set is well constructed and should last long enough to be passed down to younger kids in future, though some parents have commented that the plastic could have been a little thicker.
There are a couple of additional recipe packs available to buy separately: the apple pie and holiday cookies set. These packs have the added benefit of unlocking new phrases in the kitchen, and also include the various pieces needed for the recipe. They cost around $11 each.
